Grant: Fund for Innovations and Technology Development, through the instrument Co-financed Grants for Commercialization of Innovation, has approved the financial support of the project “MIKROEKO“ - innovative technology with application of aerobic microorganisms to less pesticides in the soil, in the amount of EUR 290,889.06.

The realization of the project “MIKROEKO” will provide an innovative product and service at the same time. The project envisions the development of innovative technology through the use of an innovative product for the treatment of pesticide-contaminated soils with aerobic granular microorganisms. The success of the project will be quantified through procurement of equipment and accreditation of methods for analyzing lindane in soil samples, activities that will be performed by Farmahem Environmental Laboratory - accredited in accordance with ISO 17025 standard, intended for testing and calibration laboratories. The use of the product will contribute to a solution to the problems of soil pollution, industrial pollution, and thus to ground and surface water pollution, air pollution, and the use of agricultural products that directly affect human health.

Project financed by EU Commission, 2018

Project: Elaborate for the determination of ambient air pollution from traffic in the City of Skopje

Indicative measurements of the ambient air quality in relation to the parameters PM10, PM2,5, benzene, nitrogen dioxide and determination of heavy metals on crossroads with high and low frequency of traffic, assessment of the current state, as well as proposing measures for its improvement, project financed by the City of Skopje, 2016-2017

Project: Soil degradation assessment and rehabilitation strategies for sustainable land use planning

The project “TERRA-MED: Soil degradation assessment and rehabilitation strategies for sustainable land use planning” is considered as a very important effort for the protection of the environmental resources in the “Greece – the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”, cross-border area, through an innovative strategic approach for the systemic management of the territorial environmental problems as well as their operative factors. The territories where the project activities were focused were western side of Thessaloniki coastal zone in the Region of Central Macedonia in the R. Greece and in the specific areas at Bitola, Region of West Macedonia, R. Macedonia. Farmahem was awarded by St. ,,Kliment Ohridskiˮ University Bitola to provide services for collection of soil and moss samples taken in the specific areas at Bitola, Region of West Macedonia, R. Macedonia for chemical and microbiological analyses and also reporting on the results and preparation of final report. Project financed by IPA fund, 2016

Project: Elaborate for noise level  and ambient air quality in City of SkopjeSecond Phase (heating season)

Project: HOT SPOTS IN MACEDONIA

Surface, groundwater and soil sampling from hot spots in Macedonia for Almadius Belgium. Almadius was awarded by the Sofinex, Walloon Expert agency to perform a feasibility study on the waste valorization of former industrial hot spot in Macedonia,  project financed by government of Belgium, 2016

Project: Operational program to reduce ambient air pollution with PM10

Assessment of the current state with ambient air quality was made through indicative measurements at five locations in Skopje Agglomeration for the following parameters: PM10, PM2,5 (qualitative and quantitative analyses of collected samples in order to be determined As, Pb, Ni, Cd, Zn, Cu, Co, Mn, Cr, Fe), PAHs, hydrocarbons from burning wood and coal and hydrocarbons from burning oil and petroleum products. Considering data processing of indicative measurements, which reflected the current situation in Skopje and historical data for the same parameters, proposed measures aroused for improvement of air quality in the City of Skopje. Action plan for the objectives, measures, executors and deadlines for implementation was prepared in the scope of the final document. Project financed by City of Skopje, 2014
